Douglas Alberts, RYT
“something” in Yoga that they have to investigate. Yoga soon became a daily event and the need to deepen his understanding led to completion of a 200 hour RYT certification program in 2009. He has taken workshops with Eric Schiffman, David Romanelli, Dharma Mitra, Judith Lasater, Rod Stryker, Wade Morrissette and Leslie Kaminoff.
Douglas likes to call attention to an increasing body of medical and scientific literature supporting the health benefits of Yoga. At the same time though he likes to point out that Yoga is more than Asana and the benefits seem to stem from following the basics of the old traditional teachings.
Mangala Allen, CSYT and RYT 500

Leanne Hutcherson, RYT
She was introduced to yoga in 2004; she felt right at home with it and started teaching. A few years later she enrolled at the Dallas Yoga Center to attain her 200 RYT, she loves being a student of yoga and continues to grow and explore in her own journey. She has a style that combines a vigorous “flow” style with emphasis on intention and breath developing personal awareness into self- realization. People rave about the experiences of mind-body openings “living your best life possible.” Creating new karma on the mat is what it’s all about.
Leanne’s teaching style has been inspired by Rodger Cole, Francois Roult, Susie Hately Aldous, Judith Hanson Lasater, Seane Corne, Doug Swenson and many local instructors. She is continuing with her studies in Yoga. She is enrolled in the Purple Lotus 500 RYT program studying Kriya Yoga, Philosophy, Vinyasa Krama, and Special Populations for Athletes.

Stephanie Read, ERYT 200
With her focus of study on the healing and therapeutic aspects of yoga, Stephanie completed many advanced anatomy teacher-training courses. She continues to train with Judith Lasater and has attended training with Leslie Kaminoff, Ross Rayburn, Dave Romanelli, Amy Garrett and Julie Byrd, and one of her most inspiring teachers, Esther Vexler.
Stephanie has trained extensively in Prenatal Yoga. She deepened her knowledge by becoming a certified Doula. She teaches mothers-to-be, through yoga asanas and pranayama, how to strengthen the body for labor, birth and motherhood as well as how to breathe and to deeply relax. Each prenatal class creates a positive, supportive and well-informed environment that gives all mothers the emotional boost and self-esteem they need for motherhood. Through her prenatal classes a sense of confidence, companionship and community emerges.
Additionally, she is certified to teach students living with stress and anxiety disorders, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as students with traumatic brain injury (TBI), cancer and physical limitations. Currently, Stephanie teaches classes to military personnel, including soldiers returning home as well as veterans and their families.
Stephanie’s gentle style of teaching includes a focus on the connection of breath and body awareness, calmness in the mind and stimulation of the brain that activates confidence and compassion as well as the release of tension within the body. Her classes emphasize strengthening the muscles while bringing more flexibility into the body without overworking it. Her philosophy is to allow students to feel calm, peaceful, accepted and supported while enjoying a healing energy during their practice. She only asks that her students never take themselves too seriously, never push into pain or discomfort, and always remember to practice kindness and playfulness on their mat and in their daily lives.
