Julie Parsons Co-owner, RYT 500
Julie Parsons, RYT 500 has been practicing yoga since 2000. She fell in love with all of the challenging aspects of Yoga. She found that learning how to breathe thoroughly (Pranayama), root into the mat, and have the courage to lift herself up became live changing lessons. Once she figured out the connection between those mat lessons and live lessons (Yamas and Niyamas), she was hooked. Not only was she excited to see the changes happening within herself, she was also excited to share her love of yoga with anyone willing to roll out their mat. Julie began her yoga training while living in California at The Yoga and Movement Center in Walnut Creek, Ca. She completed the 200 hr program at The Yoga and Movement Center in 2005 which included a 6 month apprenticeship with Diane Valentine and other Bay Area teachers. After teacher training she developed a passion for Restorative Yoga. She was amazed, and still is by the benefits of resting deeply. Julie has an additional 150 hours of training and assisting with Judith Hanson Lasater in Restorative yoga making her an Advanced Trainer in Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga.  As a Yoga teacher she has continued her studies in areas of yoga therapeutics with Judith Lasater, Leslie Kaminoff, Susi Hately Aldous, and Amy Weintraub. She has also attended Anusara teacher training with Ross Rayburn, certified in Pink Ribbon Recuperative Yoga with Amy Garrett and Julie Byrd, certified Reiki 2 master, and received her 500 RYT certification from Purple Lotus with Maggie Metzinger and Shannon Caldwell. She is tremendously grateful for all of the many teachers who have helped her along her yoga journey.

In 2006 Julie and her family moved to Haslet, TX. She loves spending time at home with her husband, 2 children, and 2 dogs. In 2009 Julie and Jana Holland became Co-Owners of Divine Center of Yoga in Southlake, TX. Divine Center of Yoga feels like a home away from home. The instructors and clients have all become a family that’s open to growth. She teaches HathaFusion on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Iyengar Inspired and Restorative Yoga on Fridays, and Vinyasa on Saturdays at Divine. Julie’s main motivation for all of her training is to offer a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment for all those who are willing to roll out their mats. Namaste.

Finally, One famous sloka in Bhagavad-Gita says it all: "Yoga karmas kaushalam," which means "YOGA IS RELAXATION IN ACTION AND EFFICIENCY IN THE OUTCOME." So let’s focus on our work and not the results.
See you on the mat. Namaste!!!!!!!!!

Erica Walters, RYT
With her husband overseas in Iraq at the start of the war in 2003, Erica found herself in great need of a deeper spiritual and physical strength in his absence. After getting her first stretch and meditation via DVD, she knew she was hooked! Once her husband safely returned home and the family moved back to their hometown of Keller, Erica went on her personal journey to become a more seasoned yogi.

She completed her 200 hour certification with Purple Lotus while pregnant with her second child in 2008. She was able to experience first hand the modifications and needs for the prenatal and postnatal body with a consistant yoga practice. Baby Sophie became her new yoga partner, who you will see marching around the studio from time to time! Continuing on her yogic path, Erica has had wonderful opportunities to continue her education and train with such renowned yogis such as: Baron Baptiste, Wade Morrissette, Bryan Kest, Doug Swenson, Dave Romenelli, and Julie Boyd.

Erica strives to create a class where you will be challenged, supported, encouraged and most importantly, reminded to bring your attention to your body and your breath. Both beginning and advanced yogis always find a comfortable mat in Erica’s classes and you are guaranteed to walk away with a renewed spirit and sense of self.

Erica lives in Keller with her husband, Scott and two daughters, Sydney and Sophie.
Karen Senne, LMT
I finished Austin School of Massage Therapy in 2001. Went into this field knowing that I can make a positive  difference in the way my clients feel. I enjoy the outdoors in taking long brisk walks with my companion.

In furthering my knowledge in this field,  I have completed ongoing continuing education classes and have been practicing in the Dallas Ft.Worth metroplex for ten years. I believe by giving yourself a much needed massage, you are allowing your MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT to calmly re-center your well being into a more peaceful and positive energy. After being completely relaxed from the session, you will be in a better state of mind. Although we are at times overwhelmed by our "To Do List", it is essential to take time out for the most important person which is "YOU". It is the least thing that you can do for yourself. May the serenity and peacefulness that embrace you be sustained throughout the days to come
